Kapila’s Teachings on Bhakti (3.25.25)

satāṁ prasaṅgān mama vīrya-saṁvido

Glories of Hearing (3.9.11)

Vision of the Universal Form (3.28.33)

evaṁ harau bhagavati pratilabdha-bhāvo

bhaktyā dravad-dhṛdaya utpulakaḥ pramodāt

When devotion to the Lord awakens, the heart melts, hairs stand on end, and tears flow in longing. The devotee experiences deep spiritual ecstasy.

4️⃣

Nature of the Soul (3.7.9)

yadā yadā hi dharmasya glānir bhavati bhārata…

(Though famous from Bhagavad Gītā, Canto 3 similarly discusses the Lord’s descent to protect dharma.)

A core theme: The Lord appears to re-establish righteousness and protect devotees.

5️⃣

Kapila on Mind Control (3.26.30)

cetaḥ khalv asya bandhāya muktaye cātmano matam

guṇeṣu saktaṁ bandhāya rataṁ vā puṁsi muktaye

Meaning:

The mind is the cause of bondage and liberation. Attached to material objects, it causes bondage; attached to the Supreme Person, it leads to liberation.
