Buddhism is split into 3 main sections. Theravada, Mahayana, Vajrayana. Theravada is the Pali Canon only. Mahayana have Mahayana sutras and accept the pali canon. Vajrayana have the Tibetan canon, they also accept Mahayana sutras and the pali canon.
