Scivias

 Here are 3 short anecdotes from Scivias by Hildegard of Bingen:

1. The Cosmic Egg
   She saw the universe as a huge glowing egg surrounded by fire and winds. Inside it were stars, clouds, and earth. The vision showed that God holds all creation together and everything exists within divine order.
2. The Radiant Woman (The Church)
   Hildegard saw a brilliant woman crowned with stars, her clothes shining with light. The woman represented the Church, giving birth to believers and nourishing them spiritually.
3. The Mountain of God
   She saw a tall mountain with a shining figure at the top. People were climbing upward, some falling due to pride and sin. It symbolized the spiritual journey toward God and the struggle to live virtuously.
