10 second single leg stand

 

  • Balance is a trainable cognitive skill; using small daily habits (like standing on one leg while brushing teeth) can improve it thanks to neuroplasticity.
  • Closing your eyes makes balancing harder because most people over-rely on vision instead of proprioception (body awareness in space).
