 What is death?

Why does it seem we are individual “me’s” that are born and ‘die?’
What happens at the ‘moment of death;’ where do “we” go?

And why is this apparent ’end’ of the “me” so terribly frightening?

“We are just Energy. We are just apparent contractions of Energy, within that same Energy. Apparent reflections of light and consciousness, back from the screen of Beingness, Nothingness. As in a movie, when the lights come on and the apparent projections disappear, none of the actors - the energetic reflections - die. All that dies is a perception.

Similarly, when we realize & establish that we are the vast context of Being or Energy in which all ‘appears,’ not the content that seems to ‘appear,’ we directly experience that Being/Energy was never born and never dies…and We Are That.

When we are willing to totally annihilate the illusory ‘story’ of “me,” with all it’s hopes, fears and problems, willing to die & embrace the ‘little death,’ the Flow of Life, that is All There Is and that We Are, remains deathless and never experiences Death.

The one who dies before he dies, doesn’t die when he dies.” - Teja Anand
