Each lyf is an unfolding of universe

Here’s a clear, concise plot line for The Life of Chuck:

The film opens in a near-apocalyptic world where society is quietly collapsing, and strange billboards appear everywhere thanking a man named Chuck for “39 years.” As reality continues to unravel, the story moves backward in time, revealing Chuck’s death, then his adult life, and finally his childhood. With each step backward, the mystery shifts from why the world is ending to who Chuck was. By the end, it becomes clear that Chuck was an ordinary person whose inner life—his memories, loves, fears, and joys—contained a universe of meaning. The film ultimately suggests that when a single life ends, an entire world ends with it.
