Whether you believe in karma or not, your negative karma increases without purification. It doesn’t matter if you are a believer or a nonbeliever. Rinpoche gives the example of a doctor saying you have cancer, but you believe you don’t have cancer. Does that help? Does this mean you don’t have cancer? Without purification, karma continues to increase until it becomes like a mountain. Without practicing Vajrasattva, a small negative karma increases day by day, week by week, month by month, year by year. Each time you do the Vajrasattva practice, your mind becomes clean. However, even though you can purify negative karma, by committing mistakes again and again, your realizations become postponed. You can continue to make mistakes and purify through Vajrasattva, but what happens is that it becomes harder and harder to have realizations on the path; your progress is postponed.

ANGUSTHA MATRA PURUSHA
It was not my intention to relate Anahuta with the angushta matra purusha. I was trying to state that whether that thumb sized purusha resides in the Anahuta discus or not. But so far I understood one thing that it is the physical heart. In deep of our heart there are one hundred types of principal subtle cords. I think those cords act like some kind of energy channel in order to maintain the flow of Prana. In our very heart there is a grape or thumb sized luminous orb . The space which contains that orb is identified as Brahmapura by kenopanishat. This heart is the seat of that great self. The self being veiled by 5 sheaths pervades that space. In that space all the subtle elements of the subtle body take shelter. Subtle elements are invisible to the naked eye. There, the purusha gets covered by the casual and the subtle body. According to my opinion, this purusha can be defined as the Saguna Brahman. Well verse no. 17 of Katha tells us the way to seperate the self from these inert elements. By the means of separation, we can attain nirguna Brahman.

Hrdaya refers to the center of Individual existence. Ramana Maharshi says > it is to the right side of our chest (as opposed to physical heart which is > towards left). When Sri Krishna says, he stays inside Hrdaya of all beings, > he may be referring to this Angushta Matra Purusha. Thus, the size refers > to the size of manifestation of Brahman in the Hradaya as Chaitya Purusha- > the Inner Controller.
