Why do Lord Shiva and Parvati have children who attained godhood while Lord Vishnu and Lakshmi have no such children?
It’s not like that Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi didn’t have children. They had children when they took incarnations. Luv and Kush were the sons of Lord Ram (Lord Vishnu) and Goddess Sita (Goddess Lakshmi). Pradyumna was the son of Lord Krishna (Lord Vishnu) and Goddess Rukmini (Goddess Lakshmi). Also, in their original forms, Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi are considered as the Parents of Kamadeva. We all are their children.
