Awareness is a word used to describe something that is otherwise not describable.
If there were other words that could possibly describe awareness, people would probably not use the word awareness as much. Or at least I wouldn’t.
As it is, awareness is the only word I know that describes an experience I literally have no other words to describe.

Essentially. There is a difference between awareness as such, and a human being aware. We can use one word to describe the awareness itself, and the other to describe the state of being aware, though which word is used to describe what hardly matters.
