A Doership is pretentious, you CANNOT be the Doer!

 A

According to Advaita Vedanta, the concept of "doership" is an illusion rooted in ignorance, where the ego mistakenly identifies itself as the actor. This false identification leads to a sense of agency and control, which is ultimately an error. In reality, all actions unfold through the workings of the three gunas (qualities of nature).

The ego's claim to doership creates a veil that obscures the true nature of reality. It fosters a sense of separation and duality, where the individual ego thinks it is the center of action. However, Advaita Vedanta teaches that this notion is a mere mental construct, and the ultimate reality, consciousness or Brahman, is the sole underlying essence.

In this view, the realization of one's true nature as the witness-consciousness, beyond the ego and its actions, is key to liberation. When the individual ego dissolves its false identity as the doer, it can experience the ultimate reality that underlies all existence. This understanding frees the individual from the bondage of ego-driven actions and leads to a state of inner peace and liberation.
