I have now spoken to BMA , MDU and Life Insurance policy advisors regarding risking into COVID exposed parts of the rota eg PDU days and nights by mutual swaps, etc. .
In view of risk of potential in service mishaps which will have a bearing on our immediate family , they have suggested us to follow the official departmental rota to the letter.
NHS Pensions and Wages, and Life Insurance Policies are only liable to honour claims of in service death/disability if we are following Department or Trust approved rota. .
