RESILIENCE X FRANKL CHOSEN RESPONSE

Don Huntington
Don Huntington, Ghostwriter at Self-Employment (2000-present)
Do these four things and you can maintain a positive attitude:
I Adopt a Welcoming Perspective. Embrace everything that happens to you with the unshakable belief that each event will create a positive outcome.
1. It will provide an opportunity for learning and growth.
2. Or it will make you stronger.
3. Or it will provide a really great story.
II Print this quote and hang it on your mirror or some other place where you will see it every day:
“Between stimulus and response there is a space.
In that space is our power to choose our response.
In our response lies our growth and our freedom.” (Victor Frankl)
III Refuse negative energies.
When you are disappointed, angry, bitter, or experiencing anything that is diminishing your joy, hold your hands out in front of you, palms down, and simply let the dark feelings go.
Do this as often as necessary. Make it a habit.
IV. Never feel entitled to anything or defensive about anything.
