Test Constantly and Observe Patiently

 SS

When you just start meditating, you do not experience any benefit or relief for some time.

This is a beginner phase we all have to get through.

During this phase, your mind will project all sorts of ideas about how meditation is not possible for you and how it is not needed, or that it is not helpful for you.

Your mind may even grow more restless and agitated for some time.

This is all just the beginner phase.

And the only way to get through it is discipline and consistency.

Gradually, with daily practice, your mind softens.

The clarity and peace of Self begin to shine through.

Finally, meditation starts to become more silent -

and you discover, this is where the deepest spiritual growth lies.

You start to go beyond concepts.

You start to experience what is prior to the mind.

Your questions and doubts begin to dissolve.

Self awareness blossoms

Peace becomes more stable.

Spiritual practice in daily life becomes possible.

Without mediation, the mind remains dull, hard, heavy, worldly.

Without meditation, the teachings remain difficult to understand

and embodying them in daily life is impossible
