Bhagavad Gita
10.41
Sanskrit (IAST):
yad yad vibhūtimat sattvaṁ śrīmad ūrjitam eva vā
tat tad evāvagaccha tvaṁ mama tejo-’ṁśa-sambhavam
Translation (concise):
“Whatever being is glorious, prosperous, or powerful, know that it arises from a fraction of My splendor.”
Key Points (Chapter 10 – Vibhūti Yoga)
- Chapter 10 is called Vibhūti Yoga — the “Yoga of Divine Manifestations.”
- Here, Krishna explains that all excellence and greatness in the world reflect His divine energy.
- Beauty, strength, intelligence, leadership, and brilliance are expressions of the Divine.
- Nothing extraordinary exists independently; it is a spark of the Supreme.
Essence in One Line
All greatness anywhere is a spark of the Divine.
If you’d like, I can also connect this verse with “Love your enemies” or The Fifth Agreement theme.
