Some people claim that they are “introverts” who prefer their own company, or that they are “extroverts” who consider themselves outgoing and people-oriented. But the vast majority of people are probably “ambiverts,” a personality type in the middle of the continuum between extroversion and introversion, experts say. People with extreme extroversion or introversion are the exception. Ambiversion combines traits from both extrovert and introvert depending on circumstances.
