- rink more water - If you are not doing any sports then you should drink at least 2L + one more for every hour of physical activity.
- Eat more Greens - A healthy amount of vegetables and fruits, mixed with some meat every week (<1 meal with meat a day) and a lot of seafood leads to an easy, healthy lifestyle.
- Do more Cardio - Get some fresh air and go jogging or go for a swim every now and again. Break a sweat every week to get your body in high gear and practiced.
- Avoid Drugs and Alcohol - They are just bad for you. Avoid them.
- Practice Safe Sex - Hopefully pretty self-explanatory.
- Listen to your Body - Whether it’s food, water, sleep or pain, listen to your body and act accordingly. Your body is different than everybody else’s, which means you have to find your own perfect balance.
- Exercise your mind - Your mind degrades as you grow older. Make sure to exercise it daily and consistently to keep that degradation at a minimum!
- Sleep as much as you need - Everyone has their own perfect sweet spot. Find yours and stick to it.
- Avoid Stressful work - Stress is a huge factor in almost every psychological and physical health detriment. Avoid it as much as you can.
- Don’t rush - If you rush you will make mistakes. Some of them are not going to cost you a lot, others will cost you everything. Drive slow even if you’re late, look both ways before you cross a street, and always wear a helm when biking or skiing.
- Have more fun - On the other hand, joy and happiness are highly correlated with longer and more fulfilled lives. Meaning, if you want to live long it is your job to be happy!
