P TONSILLITIS

It’s as frustrating as the term “fever sepsis” which means little; other than creating confusion for staff and anxiety for parents.

A request: Please can people stop using the term "septic tonsillitis" It makes it more confusing for the parents when I stop antibiotics a couple of days later when the child develops a viral rash. Sepsis commonly meant infective in the past. Now it's got a darker meaning. Thanks
