It was the Fourth of August, 2014, my first day at JIS College of Engineering, Kalyani when I first saw him! On the first day the freshers are given introductory sessions and we were taken inside the B.C Roy auditorium(named after the first Chief Minister of West Bengal and architect of the satellite township of Kalyani Late Dr Bidhan Chandra Ray). We were seated,when a handsome, tall Swami came in with few teachers surrounding him! He was asked to deliver a motivational talk. He enthralled the audience in such a way that I will always remember him. Words cant describe the magical personality of Swamiji. He had a good sense of humour and made us laugh too. He precisely made four points to us three of which I remember now. He even stated that the difference between us(private college students) and the IITians was the difference in the levels of our concentration. There was not much difference on IQ terms! He also advised us to HAVE A GOAL IN OUR LIVES . He also exhorted us to improve ourselves each and every passing day!
Since my college was in Bengal and he too being a Bengali also said that he had a friend or a fellow monk maybe who had went to various places in the world and had told Swami Sarvapriyanandaji maharaj that “I have never seen people in the world as intelligent as Bengalis, but I have also not seen any people as lazy as Bengalis! ”
His personality can be gauged from the fans and listeners he has across the various places in the world!
