sartre x annihiln

What I get from Sartre is his brutal confrontation with reality and the absurdity of life, with death and the existential crisis. I don’t need to be shielded from the reality of death, nor do I need faith in rebirth to assuage the existential crisis. Rather than be “happy” in the Buddhist sense of allieviating the dukkha or angst of life’s absurdities, I’d rather lean in to the existential crisis and walk the razor’s edge of life in the face of annihilation.
