MAPLE SYRUP


"Maple Syrupis simply boiled down tree sap and an excellent source of manganese and a good source of zinc. It can be used as table sweetener on waffles, pancakes, or in baking to make cakes, breads, muffins, cookies, etc.  Not recommended for regular use, as it can spike glucose levels, but it’s rich in manganese & zinc and also contains calcium, potassium and copper, which are essential to maintain the normal metabolic activities in the body, so it’s a better choice than table sugar.
