Depression x Walk ex

 The habit is regular physical exercise — especially consistent, moderate activity like walking, jogging, or strength training.


Decades of research show exercise can be as effective as antidepressants for mild to moderate depression, but it’s under-prescribed because it doesn’t fit neatly into the medical/pharmaceutical model and requires sustained behavior change rather than a prescription.
