“One of the best human qualities is our intelligence, which enables us to judge what is wholesome and what is unwholesome, what is beneficial and what is harmful. Negative thoughts, such as anger and strong attachment, destroy this special human quality; this is indeed very sad. . .A person gripped by such states of mind and emotion is like a blind person, who cannot see where he is going. Yet we neglect to challenge these negative thoughts and emotions that lead to near insanity. On the contrary, we often nurture and reinforce them! By doing so we are, in fact, making ourselves prey to their destructive power. When you reflect along these lines, you will realize that our true enemy is not outside ourselves.”
“If the situation or problem is such that it can be remedied, then there is no need to worry about it. In other words, if there is a solution or a way out of the difficulty, you do not need to be overwhelmed by it. The appropriate action is to seek its solution. Then it is clearly more sensible to spend your energy focusing on the solution rather than worrying about the problem. Alternatively, if there is no solution, no possibility of resolution, then there is also no point in being worried about it, because you cannot do anything about it anyway. In that case, the sooner you accept this fact, the easier it will be for you.
For attainment of moksha, the Bhagavad Gita lays emphasis on –
Keeping equanimity towards pairs of opposites – heat and cold, pleasure and pain, gain and loss, honor and dishonor, success and failure, attraction and repulsion, etc.
Abandoning all desires and concern for the fruits of deeds.
Abandoning attachment and other passions, lust, greed, pride, anger, infatuation, fear etc.
Keeping a check on sensory and motor organs, mind and intellect.
Doing all work selflessly for the welfare of all in the spirit of sacrifice.
Always keeping the view that the actual doer of all deeds is the system of the three gunas of nature.
Keeping equanimity towards all creatures whether superior or inferior.
Seeing all creatures in one’s own self and oneself in all, and also seeing creatures and everything as manifested in God.
Making the mind steady and serene by continuous practice and renunciation.
Complete devotion to God.
When a practicing devotee attains a high spiritual state called brahmisthiti, he never gets infatuated and after death attains absolute emancipation.

Chaturmasyams are done by usually Sanyaasis, it is a vow where you stay in a place for 4 months
Chaturmas Deeksha is a vow undertaken by devotees. Those who do it follow rules like abstinence, sleeping on floor,no non-veg or alcohol,no lying,no fights, malice or hatred, eat only once a day and so on.Just like Navratris and festival days it is easier to develop spiritual tranquility during these auspicious days. Usually marriages are not performed during these four months to focus more on spiritual activities rather than wordly.

Shree Krishna taught in the Bhagavad Gita: ‘karmanyeva-adhikaraste ma phalesu kadachana’, which means, ‘Be active, never be inactive, and don’t react to the outcome of the work.”

Karma is adhikar....not phal/results. It's not about "not reacting" to the outcome. A conscious person responds in every situation..... doesn't react.
But this shloka basically tells humans to not get entangled in phal. Firstly, because the rules of Karma and the estimation of what "phal" you are supposed to get can't be done by the majority of human beings. So mostly if you are expecting a particular phal for your action, you would be wrong in your expectations. So don't think about the outcome.
Secondly and coincidentally....this is the best way to practice non-attachment to the phal/outcome. All you do is in the service of God, all you do is your Dharm, and all you "get" is a gift which you dedicate back to God. You anyways come with nothing and leave with nothing (except your experiences and Karma).
