“Consciousness is never experienced in the plural, only in the singular. Not only has
none of us ever experienced more than one consciousness, there's also no trace of
circumstantial evidence of this ever happening anywhere in the world” - Schrödinger

BS- Has anyone noticed a change to the care provided by your local GP service? When I first moved to the area, we had access to a great team of doctors. They had empathy and concern for each individual's needs. Over the years, several of the best doctors have moved on and these days we have to go through "care navigators". These people must deal with numerous calls every day and most of the time they seem to follow a script. But no two people are the same, in terms of their feelings as well as health. There seems to be no room for lateral thinking as to what might be behind someone's request. at the end of the day we call because we need help, now and then it's at a stressful point in our lives. I wish they could bring back the same compassion and kindness - it's free and often works wonders.

I am with Carrington House Surgery. Here the service has deteriorated over the last couple of years. They will only take appointments by phone but the phone line is always busy and can take up to half an hour for a receptionist to respond. Once through, only telephone appointments can be made with a typical three week wait for a call back. My impression is that admin staff are fighting a losing battle as surgery is understaffed with GP's. The system appears broken.

I’m not at hughenden valley surgery but have definitely noticed a change in the service of the practice I’m with.
I hate the fact that we now have to divulge the reason for our call to the receptionists - it’s private, it’s awkward and we shouldn’t be obliged too. Don’t exactly want to be speaking to the dr unless I need too! It’s also damaging to someone who is already concerned to have to explain the issue to a receptionist just for the sake
Of making it easier for the gp or for them to decide whether we need an appointment or not. Urgh.

111 is answered by a non medical person who contacts a doctor then they send an ambulance and you are put in hospital where you stay for hours. If you are lucky you might see a doctor who walks in mutters something inaudible and disappears. I do not advise 111.

Doctors are part time. It seems we are just too much for them. It’s not working. Going to see your doctor is personal. He knew you and you knew him. This is no longer the case. If you are lucky enough to have a face to face appointment you don’t see the same doctor twice. I have MY doctor and have his name as officially MY doctor but never see him. He is just a name. This country has too many people. The NHS cannot cope with the influx. In 1945 when the NHS was started they never dreamed the numbers would become like this. Do not blame the NHS. They try very hard. I find phone appointments utterly useless. I have started to spend my savings on my medical care these days. It will soon go.

At our surgery we NEVER see the same doctor twice in a row thats after at least half an hour listening PLEASE HOLD YOUR CALL IS IMPORTANT TO US and the most horrible music that sounds like its coming from a tin can .They once even sent me to a lung cancer specialist ,when we got there she hadn't got a clue WHY WE WERE THERE .We think they sent me there by mistake for someone else ..ITS A COMPLETE JOKE .
BUT THE John Radcliffe and Churchill have been amazing ,I was sent there with a lump in my Colon which was dealt with very quickly ,so some parts of the N H S do work well.

A From my experiential research, involving hundreds of multi-cultural groups internationally over
nearly forty years, I have found whenever self-selected participants experientially notice the
quality and presence of awareness as a group, a profound peace unfolds throughout
everyone’s body, heart, and mind. We spontaneously rediscover an ever-present, all-knowing,
all-powerful ‘presence’ through our perceptions of a formless, timeless, witnessing
‘absence’ (as a dimensionless Void) which flawlessly re-unites all that can change by being
indivisible and unchanging.
