Those who are first time to listen to the Dharma, I want to say very first introduction. Phenomena, you discover, you see with direct perception. What Shakyamuni Buddha Omniscient One explained. Numberless buddhas as Guru Shakyamuni Buddha sees directly the karma, all the past, present, and future phenomena. All the past, present, and future things, karma, result, from virtuous action. By practicing morality, abstaining from killing, then this life have received body of happy transmigratory being, a human body you have received this time, that is the ultimate reason. Then past life you made charity, practiced patience, so this lifetime you have a beautiful body. And if you want to receive or to be born a human being with a beautiful body then you must practice patience in this life, not get angry and practice patience. Concerning phenomena, there are different phenomena. As you develop your mind, more and more you purify the defilements. There are five paths to achieve liberation. As you achieve the 5 paths then you remove the disturbing thought obscurations, obscurations which interfere to directly see all past, present, and future phenomena, then you are able to read numberless sentient beings in each realm, can read at the same time their minds, not one by one, at the same time, because there is no blockage, no obscuration, it is purified, your mind is totally free, you can see all their suffering, what they suffer, you see all the methods that they need, methods how to make them free from suffering gradually. So then slowly slowly you bring the numberless sentient beings to peerless happiness, enlightenment, buddhahood. So there are three types of phenomena, direct perception, then inferential reasons, depending on that you discover the phenomenon like emptiness and so forth. Then karma and so forth through, you realize by depending on the quotations, valid quotations by the Buddha, Omniscient One. That is general introduction, how we have to discover the different phenomena, the different ways we have to discover.
