In India, we call all natural elements sacred,
but do we respect them even a little?

Let's understand:

1️⃣ Earth (Extinction of Wild Species)

๐ŸŒ At the time of independence, India had 4 regions where the densest forests and the highest population of animals and birds were found. Today, we have lost 90% of those areas!

๐ŸŒ Currently, 1 million species in India are on the brink of extinction.

๐ŸŒ India has 18% of the world's population but only 2% of its forests. And the remaining forests are being sold to industrialists for development at cheap prices every year.

๐ŸŒ India suffers an economic loss of approximately ₹1 lakh crore every year due to biodiversity loss.

2️⃣ Fire (Impact of Fire on Remaining Forests)

๐ŸŒณ Approximately 65% of India's forests are affected by forest fires. Such incidents have increased 7 times in Himachal and 3 times in Uttarakhand.

๐ŸŒณ Forest fires raise the temperature of surrounding areas by 5 to 10 degrees.

๐ŸŒณ India incurs an annual loss of approximately ₹250 billion due to forest fires.

3️⃣ Water (Threat of Drought and Impact of Polluted Water)

๐ŸŒŠ 2 billion people worldwide depend on the Himalayan glaciers, which are melting rapidly. Due to extreme heat, 75-80% of the glaciers might melt in the next decade. The water sources of rivers like Ganga, Yamuna, Brahmaputra, and Sindhu are drying up!

๐ŸŒŠ And the water that is available is polluted! 50% of the world's waterborne diseases occur in India alone.

๐ŸŒŠ These diseases cause an economic loss of approximately ₹49,000 crore to India every year.

4️⃣ Air (Air Pollution as the Biggest Cause of Death)

๐ŸŒฌ️ 83 out of the world's 100 most polluted cities are in India. According to WHO standards, the level of PM2.5 pollutants should be less than 5 ยตg/m³. Delhi's average PM2.5 level is 188 ยตg/m³!

๐ŸŒฌ️ The result of breathing in such air? In 22 states of the country, air pollution and respiratory diseases are the leading causes of death. Heart disease now comes second!

๐ŸŒฌ️ Air pollution causes an annual loss of ₹3 lakh crore to India.

๐ŸŒฌ️ Due to air pollution, the average life expectancy of Indians is reduced by 5 years. If you live in North India, your lifespan is reduced by up to 11 years!

5️⃣ **Sky (Fire Falling from the Sky)**

๐Ÿ”ฅ 2023 was the hottest year in the last 100,000 years. 100,000 years!

๐Ÿ”ฅ For the first time in history, the Earth's average temperature has remained above 1.5 degrees for 12 consecutive months. The Earth is burning!

๐Ÿ”ฅ In just 2024, the Earth's average temperature has been more than 1.7 degrees, even exceeding the 1.5-degree limit!

You might be wondering what difference 1.5 degrees makes?

๐Ÿšจ Such a change in the Earth's average temperature caused:
3200 deaths in India in 2023, over 400,000 homes were destroyed, 70,000 livestock died, and more than 2 million hectares of crops were ruined.

Now, by planting a sapling on Environment Day, you cannot shirk your responsibility. The situation has gone beyond control, and things have reached a critical point!

99% of people are unaware of most of the facts mentioned above! Just when you were busy fulfilling your personal interests, you were inviting a catastrophe on Earth, and you didn’t even know it!

When you were suffering from the heat, the media was entertaining you with IPL and elections, and you were lost in the intoxication of entertainment!

If your country elects a bozo whom you can’t stand, you will feel a disconnect with your nation and government and even other citizens. You will also feel as though you are owed something in return for putting up with terrible policies. Equalization is present in every experience because the drive to equalize is emotion itself. Sadness is a feeling of powerlessness to make up for a perceived loss.

The two most expensive words in business and in life are "I know", writes investor Jeff Gosling. As we get older and gain experience, we may unconsciously tune out when we think, "I know this already". However, Gosling warns this is extremely dangerous as it creates blind spots.

Even on familiar topics, he recommends asking, "Isn't that interesting? I wonder if I could learn more?" Revisiting concepts from new angles can spark critical realisations about what we actually don't know or aren't applying properly.

Gosling argues that surrounding yourself with diverse viewpoints and experiences reduces overall blind spots that affect business decisions.

EMOTION ANGER LASTS 90 SECONDS X THENCE COUNT TO 50

 A

My Stroke of Insight, the brain scientist Jill Bolte Taylor’s book about her recovery from a massive stroke, she explains the physiological mechanism behind emotion: an emotion like anger that’s an automatic response lasts just 90 seconds from the moment it’s triggered until it runs its course. One and a half minutes, that’s all. When it lasts any longer, which it usually does, it’s because we’ve chosen to rekindle it.

Bicameral mentality is a hypothesis introduced by Julian Jaynes who argued human ancestors as late as the ancient Greeks did not consider emotions and desires as stemming from their own minds but as the consequences of actions of gods external to themselves. The theory posits that the human mind once operated in a state in which cognitive functions were divided between one part of the brain which appears to be "speaking", and a second part which listens and obeys—a bicameral mind, and that the breakdown of this division gave rise to consciousness in humans. The term was coined by Jaynes, who presented the idea in his 1976 book The Origin of Consciousness in the Breakdown of the Bicameral Mind[1] wherein he made the case that a bicameral mentality was the normal and ubiquitous state of the human mind as recently as 3,000 years ago, near the end of the Mediterranean bronze age.

STEPHEN HODGE -“When your mind parts from your body, the visions of pure reality will shine forth, shimmering like a summer mirage on the plains. They are subtle yet clear; distinctly experienced, they will fill you with fear and anxiety. Do not be fearful or afraid of them! Do not be anxious! They are the glowing radiance of your reality so recognize them as such!

A

A great roar of noise will reverberate forth from within the light, like the sound of a thousand crashes of thunder rumbling at the same time. This is the natural sound of your reality so do not be fearful or afraid of it! Do not be anxious! You now have an astral body generated by the energy of your habitual tendencies, not a physical one of flesh and blood. No matter what sounds, dazzling colors, or radiant luminosity occur, they cannot hurt you or cause your death. Just recognize them as your own projections and all will be well. Know that this is the reality phase of death.

A

No matter what religious practices you did during your life, if you have not received these instructions and do not recognize these experiences to be your own projections, then you will be terrified by the luminosity, alarmed by the sounds and frightened by the dazzling colors. If you don't comprehend the essential point of this instruction, you will wander lost in cyclical existence, no having understood the luminosity, the sounds, and dazzling colors for what they are.”

Islam requires believers to demonstrate endurance and recognition of Allah’s will whenever they face the tragedy of the death of a loved one.

“When a Muslim hears about loss, he is supposed to express gratitude to God for what has occurred and to utter the expression that, “indeed, we are from God, and we shall go back to him. God, I seek for myself the suitable reward for this calamity and leave for me just the goodness from what has happened.” (Muslim, 1994)
