NO RESH X NO RES

 A#

. I was trying to resurrect the life I had been living before. But that version of reality was over, and there was no going back.

  1. 'Advaitins say that the world doesn't exist.' No, this isn't true. Advaitins say that the world is relative in nature. Hence it cannot be said to be absolutely real, nor be said to be absolutely unreal. This relativity of the world between the un-manifest and the manifest creates the appearance of all diversity, through one's own karma, and this is how the cycle of creation, preservation, destruction and regeneration goes on. The karma phal is given by ishwara. This relativity of the world makes the world mithya. It's like when you mix poision with water, the entire thing becomes poison. So when you colour pure awareness with the inner instrument of the mind and the outer appearance of the body, then the entire relationship between Shiva and Shakti becomes mithya. It's the same samsara when seen in reality that it becomes moksha. Moksha isn't a separate reality that we are chasing.

BEINGNESS IN BEING

A

  1. 'Advaitins don't believe in God and are atheists.' No, this isn't true either. Advaitins firmly have faith in God as both Saguna as well as Nirguna, neither being higher than the other. One is the immanent reality which emanates all appearances through the cycle of karma and karma phala, and the other is the transcendental reality. Both these realities are NOT TWO, but rather, seem to be two due to the duality of language and of appearances.

WHEN I AM MYSELF GOES , THE I AM ALL COMES

Advaitins think that they are God'. No, this isn't true either. At least not in the sense that you're implying this accusation. Rather, Advaitins believe that they are not, God alone is. Because the appearance of the 'I' function in the mind is an appearance of none other than Brahman, it is said that Aham Brahmasmi. But the real meaning is that Aham is not, Brahman alone is. Aham is a pointer towards Brahman. When it is misunderstood by the buddhi, it tangles it up with the body-mind. When understood by the buddhi, it results in Samadhi. Sama means equanimity and dhi comes from buddhi. So an equanimous intellect, which rather than differentiating sees the oneness of nature, is able to infer that which is beyond even the oneness of existence, that is, Existence-consciousness-bliss(Sat-Chit-Ananda) itself.

  1. 'Advaita is just crypto buddhism'. No, this isn't true at all. The reality is that advaita and buddhism developed independently, but influenced each other a lot philosophically because of years of debates. This led to the flowering of both the philosophies, and use of very similar pointers. But since they both developed completely independently, they have their very own unique methodology of using the said pointers. So while they are really similar in some regards, they are like mirror images instead of the same image. A crypto philosophy will be an exact imitation, not a mirror image.

TA QRA

Depends.

Yes, in the dream-of-separateness, which dreams ‘time,’ ‘evolution,’ and the ‘story’ of a world filled with ‘separate beings’ who are going somewhere…it can appear as if “we” are writing a story called awakening. A dream-story of a race of separate beings who are ‘progressing’ toward worldwide ‘illumination.’

In Reality. there is only Being, dreaming of separate worlds and separate beings. There is only Now, and that One being is already Whole, complete and the only Light…so no story, progress or illumination is extant.

ONCE OBSESSION WITH BXM GOES - ADVTA SMADHI

A

No. It doesn’t matter because understanding Advaita Vedanta will do you no good.

And having a spiritual awakening is not “you” having it.

There is only Being, so Being is merely dreaming It is a separate entity (“you”) appearing to have ‘its own personal’ spiritual awakening.

If a true ‘awakening’ appears to take place in “your” location, you will

- know nothing

- have absolutely no need for any ‘understandings,’ and

- be so completely dissolved in Being that all pages in books or scriptures about Vedanta, Advaita, Gita and Dhammapada will be the same as a pile of dry leaves under a tree.

I AM NOT HERE, ONLY BEING
