ANIDAM CHAITANYAM

 A

Awareness. An ability to precept a shared or non-shared sense of reality.

Consciousness is the all that is that pervades all of space, time, and nothingness as the origin. It is the fabric through which physical reality weaves itself.

Consciousness: A self aware#1 machine which have experiences#2 when interacting with everything it interacts with.

#1: aware = knowing it exist.

#2: experiences= an event or occurrence which leaves an impression on someone.

The problem comes in explaining what an experience is.
This is often explained by "Is your red, same as my red".

CONSC- WHICH REGULATES ENTROPY

A

According to Vedanta, Consciousness (or Chaitanyam) is defined as follows:

अनिदम् चेतनयम्। Anidam Chaitanyam

“Not this” (is) Consciousness.

This is called a “via negativa” definition, essentially defining a thing by defining what it is not.

The idea here is that if you can point at something (figuratively) and say “this”, it is not Consciousness. This includes physical objects, and even mental objects (such as your thoughts, memories, emotions, decisions, and even your idea of who you are).

 Ram Dass himself:

1. “When you’re identified with awareness, you’re no longer living in a world of polarities. Everything is present at the same time.”

2. “When you know how to listen, everybody is the guru, speaking to you.”

3. “Within the spiritual journey, you understand that suffering becomes something that has been given to you to show you where your mind is still stuck.”

4. “Through an open heart, you hear the universe.”

5. “Once you understand what awakening is about, every act of your life becomes a vehicle to become aware, and the meaning of life changes.”

6. “Suffering is part of our training program for becoming wise.”

7. “Treat everyone you meet like God in drag.”

8. “The beginning of wisdom comes from the capacity to look at what is.”

9. “You can’t push away the world. You have to enter it fully to become free.”

10. “The most exquisite paradox: As soon as you give it all up, you can have it all. As long as you want power, you can’t have it. The minute you don’t want power, you’ll have more than you ever dreamed possible.”

TA QRA

Is this a serious question. I actually had to check to see if this was one of those nonsense questions from the Quora Prompt (Profit) Generator.:-) And I must say, I’m surprised Sakshi accepted the submission to this Space. So I’ll have a bit of ‘entertainment’ with it 😄

First: Buddha, Adi Shankara, Vyasa and others supposedly advocating paths free of imbibing or indulging in these things all lived thousands of years ago, with entire religions with billions of followers formed around them and their precepts. Since that time, how many ‘sectors’ and industries have been gutted and employees put out of work because some of those followers actually adhered to these guidelines?

Um…none. The meat, alcohol, cigarette, entertainment and fast food industries are thriving greater than ever. Definitely not in danger of a few million truly dedicated ‘seekers’ putting them out of business. 🤣

Second: ‘Going’ to the ‘spiritual path’ is ultimately about ‘realizing’ there is only Being and this world is merely a dream-illusion Being is having. Do you honestly think earnestly walking those paths has anything to do with preserving the world illusion as it is? Do you think those (few) who are actually called to Oneness with God or Being should be worried about how their finding there is only God/Being might affect some worldly illusions of separateness?

Thirdly: If you place all of this dream manifestation on a 24-hour clock of time (which is also an illusion,) ‘humans’ got here less than a second ago, at 23:59:59, and will be gone in another breath. The Universe existed for at least 5 billion years without any ‘humans’ and their ‘employment,’ and Being existed forever. How arrogant can it be for ‘humans’ to think that “their” temporary solvency is more important than returning to the Godhead?
