ELECTRICAL SIGNALS CANT BE CONSCIOUSNESS

A

In my experience, most people find this to be the easiest way to reduce their caloric intake, by focusing on when they are eating rather than how much and/or what they are eating. But I am not convinced that short-term time-restricted feeding has much of a benefit beyond this

A

Ancient wisdom was not misled or confused about this. IE: "What you are looking for is what is looking."

Physics is like a map of the world, but what's missing is the red arrow that says "you are here".

One. Peirce's ontological Firstness. Firstness is possibility. Consciousness is semiotic, involving a sign, an object and an interpretant (a second sign). Or that which waits for a response and that which responds by providing the sign with a referrent. Gives the sign meaning. Presumably this kind of transaction takes place when things, and for things to, evolve. Evolution is not according to a blueprint but the creative realisation of the possible in any given circumstances.

SATYA SAI BABA

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY AS WRITTEN IN PRASANTHI NILAYAM - March 11, 2024
What is the best way to transmit the essence of the Bhagavad Gita? Bhagawan lovingly reminds us and guides us today.
You have to transcend the usual method of viewing the Gita as a mere dialogue between Krishna and Arjuna by elevating it into what it really is - a divine dialogue between Eshwara and Jivi (God and individual). The recitation of Gita is now being encouraged as an end in itself. That is only a method of spending time beneficially! The Gita is a path, a goal, an achievement. Its purpose is gained by practice and experience. The voice of God as a message to man is a gift of grace to all men. Unfortunately, it is interpreted by man along the lines his temperament dictates. Thereby the pure and clear message gets contaminated. Later when the message is presented in a variety of forms, it produces confusion and conflict. Those who profess to teach and preach religion must avoid such consequences and concentrate on arousing spiritual hunger and satisfying it. There are many who try to cater to people's tastes through irrelevant stories which tarnish the main spiritual theme. The message can succeed in capturing people's hearts only when it is experienced by the speaker and when his aim is only to inspire others to share his joy!
- Divine Discourse, Jan 04, 1987.
