When Yudhisthira was crowned as king of Hastinapur, than Lord Krishna said that he would now like to go to Dwarka. Kunti devi came to see Lord.
Lord Krishna said, “ I am very pleased by your bhakti, ask what you want?”
Kunti devi said, “Oh my Lord! Please give me hardship, difficulties , challenges, poverty.”
Lord Krishna said, “ People ask for easy life full of luxuries and pleaures, why are you asking hardships?”
Kunti devi said, “My lord! The more luxuries and abundance we have, the more we turn towards material realm and forget about you. My ultimate goal is spritual enhancement rather than materialistic pleasure. So please grant me this hardships and difficulties.”

The meditative state that is beyond the states of waking, deep sleep, and dreams.
Shiva is the consciousness that is non-dual and present everywhere.
Shiva is the consciousness that is pure bliss, called Chidanandarupa.
There is a line in Sanskrit which says that this blissful, innocent state of consciousness, or Shiva, can be known through forbearance and yoga, tapo-yoga-gamya. Without yoga, Shiva can’t be experienced.
