In the shapeliness of a life, habit plays its sovereign role.

Sri M explains that according to the Upanishad, the sorrow of birth and death, the sorrow and the misery of the external world are felt only as long as one is identified with the ego. The sorrow ends the moment one realises that one is the Witness of all that is happening, which is a “spark” of the Supreme Being. So when that identification is gained, then all this misery vanishes.
There is another interpretation for this. On the same tree sits two birds; one is eating the fruit and the other is not. Actually, if one could identify oneself with that Supreme Being, one can eat and still remain without being affected by the sorrows, which means that one realises that the eating is as imaginary as a dream. When you are in a dream-state, if there is a tiger running behind you, you run with all your might because you do not know when the tiger is going to pounce on you. In fact, it is so real, that even when you wake up, you are still sweating and feel palpitations of the heart. After you wake up, you say, “Oh! It was a dream!” and you realise that there was no real tiger.
In the same way, in the waking-state, the identification is wrong. It is not the actual person, but the identification. As long as one is identified with the bird that is eating, then there is all the misery and the suffering, and also the enjoyment. But when one wakes up from the dream, the identification itself is lost. One realises that there is no such bird that was eating, there is only one bird sitting and watching; although, from the relative point of view there were two birds.
When one realises one’s true identity as a “spark” of the Divine, as opposed to the limited ego which enjoys and suffers, then one becomes “free from sorrow”, veetashokah. There is no more “shoka” for such a person; no more sorrow. God is not an experience. No experience as such is spiritual; all experiences are mind games. Beware of it. Whatsoever can be seen will be part of the illusory world. The seer is the truth, not the seen. You can see auras and you can see angels and you can see kundalini rising and you can see inner lights but they are all seen. They are not you.
The seer is the witness, and only the witness is the Truth. All else is a dream. And there are worldly dreams and there are other-worldly dreams; there are materialistic dreams and there are spiritualistic dreams. One thing has to be remembered always, that whatsoever is seen is worthless. But when all experiences disappear and you are left utterly alone, nothing to see, only emptiness in the hands, no experience at all, then suddenly you Realize yourself. Then you turn upon yourself, then you fall into your Source. And that is not an experience, it is a Realization. That is the difference between the words "experience" and "Realization". It is not that you have seen something or experienced something. Now you know who you are. If you wish to be free you must shun the poison of the senses. Seek the nectar of truth, of love, of forgiveness, simplicity and happiness.
Earth, fire, water, the wind and the sky, you are none of these.
If you wish to be free: Know that you are the Self. The witness of all these. The heart of awareness.
Set your body aside and sit in your own awareness. You will at once be happy. Forever still, Forever free.
With the fire of this conviction, burn down the forest of ignorance. Free yourself from sorrow and be happy.
May you all realise your all-blissful Soul who is free from all fear, cares and anxieties ! Be unattached, untouched and like the infinite sky just a witness to everything.”

Think twice before you speak and thrice before you act .Give up backbiting , criticizing and faultfinding. Beware of reaction. Find out your own faults and weaknesses. See only good in others. Praise the virtues of others. Forgive and forget the harm done by others. Do good to those that hate you . Shun lust , anger, egoism, moha and lobha like a venomous cobra. Aum Kriyababa Ji Namaha Aum ( An excerpt from, " The Voice of Babaji")

Babaji has refused to reveal to his disciples any limiting facts about his birthplace and birth date. His speech is generally in Hindi, but he converses easily in any language. He has adopted the simple name of Babaji (Revered Father); other titles of respect given him by Lahiri Mahasaya’s disciples are Mahamuni Babaji Maharaj (Supreme Ecstatic Master), Maha Yogi (the Great Yogi), and Trambak Baba or Shiva Baba (titles of avatars of Shiva). Does it matter that we know not the patronymic of a fully released master?
The deathless guru bears no mark of age on his body; he appears to be a youth of not more than twenty-five. Fair-skinned, of medium build and height, Babaji’s beautiful, strong body radiates a perceptible glow. His eyes are dark, calm, and tender; his long, lustrous hair is copper-coloured.
Great prophets like Christ & Krishna come to earth for a specific and spectacular purpose; they depart as soon as it is accomplished. Other avatars, like Babaji, undertake work that is concerned more with the slow evolutionary progress of man during the centuries than with any one outstanding event of history. Such masters always veil themselves from the gross public gaze and have the power to become invisible at will. For these reasons, and because they generally instruct their disciples to maintain silence about them, a number of towering spiritual figures remain unknown.
