EINSTEIN X GODEL

“Emotional residue” is when we continue to experience the after-effects of an emotion long after we’ve reacted to the initial event.

Margaret Paul:

“Being a spiritual person is synonymous with being a person whose highest priority is to be loving to yourself and others. A spiritual person cares about people, animals and the planet. A spiritual person knows that we are all One, and consciously attempts to honor this Oneness. A spiritual person is a kind person”

“If we actually analyze the word, we note that the Latin root humilis comes from humus, or rather that it is proper to the earth. The humble person is the one who maintains contact with the earth, with reality, who keeps his feet on the ground. Remembering his own roots, he will not be deceived by the Pindaric flights of the mind, often driven by unresolved unconscious wounds.”

Goldmund:

“I believe . . . that the petal of a flower or a tiny worm on the path says far more, contains far more than all the books in the library. One cannot say very much with mere letters and words. Sometimes I’ll be writing a Greek letter, a theta or an omega, and tilt my pen just the slightest bit; suddenly the letter has a tail and becomes a fish; in a second it evokes all the streams and rivers of the world, all that is cool and humid, Homer’s sea and the waters on which Saint Peter wandered; or becomes a bird, flaps its tail, shakes out its feathers, puffs itself up, laughs, flies away. You probably don’t appreciate letters like that, very much, do you, Narcissus? But I say: with them God wrote the world.

Skillful curiosity can reduce ignorance, encourage compassion, develop wisdom. Unskilful curiosity encourages anxiety and ego, and ultimately causes suffering.

B UPROOTING ANGER

I found anger to be a very deep thing and not easy to uproot

NO SPIRITUAL BYPASSING - CA DX

When I got the news that I had cancer, I laughed to myself. I laughed at all the spiritual teachers and friends I have met over the years who have passed judgement on people who suffer illnesses like cancer or autoimmune. I laughed at Louise Hay, founder of Hay House, and author of You Can Heal Your Life. I laughed because I knew, in that moment, that all of my self-development and spiritual learnings were made for this moment.

I knew I wasn’t going to heal this with a  vegan diet, or sound heal and mantra the cancer out; I knew there was nothing I had in my spiritual back pocket that I hadn’t already been doing. I ate the food, listened to the sound healing, drank all the spiritual “Kool-Aid,” and still my cells teamed up and had an estrogen party in my uterus and cervix. I knew when they said cancer that only one thing was going to get me out of the bind I was in—if I wanted to remain on planet Earth for as long as I hope to.

I had to surrender to my cause, have the surgery, do the chemo and radiation that goes against everything I believe in from a health perspective, but that I know works because I have friends thriving and getting to do life because they did it. I chose in a moment to go all-in on staying alive for my family no matter what.

I am putting my faith in science, and I am backing that faith up with the science of every holistic healing modality known to women because I am both, and.

Back to the vaccine.

Exploring the earth, water, fire, and air elements helps us to see that our physical selves are neither static nor separate from the world around us, but are instead an ever-changing and dynamic part of that world. Exploring these elements reveals that what we call the body is simply the universe flowing through itself, just as an eddy in a river is simply water dancing within water.

Exploring the space element reveals to us how our sense of separateness is, as Einstein put it, “an optical illusion of consciousness.” Reflecting on the space element we can begin to see that there is no us “in here” that is distinct from a world “out there.”

Exploring the consciousness element helps us to recognize the processes that cause us to create a sense of separateness, so that we can further let go of our dualistic sense of there being a separate self and other. Having done that we can simply *be* — resting calm, spacious, compassionate, and free.

B PLEASURES OF FORM

PLEASURE OF BREATH

pleasures of form refer to the pleasure we get from meditation up to the 4th jhana. After the 4th jhana there are formless spheres and Nibbana is beyond form and formless.

"If people sat outside and looked at the stars each night, I'll bet they'd live a lot differently.

Is consciousness fundamental?

FACTS IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER (except a little.)

Consciousness fakes being fundamental.
Awareness is fundamental.
Human consciousness is activity in the nervous system.
Awareness conjoins with consciousness to form “the witness.”
The witness disappears when the body dies.
Everyone fails to describe awareness with words like “Eternal” “Infinite” “God.”
Consciousness is subject to the three-body rule and Godel’s exceptions.
Sentience immulates awareness, but only achieves “conscious.”
Being is relatively transcendent to the manifest, but it yet also is illusory.
In between thoughts — awareness — be ye microbe, human, or God.
Silence and awareness are the same word.
Being and God are the same word.
When OM is the sole experience, consciousness becomes pure consciousness.
In your dreams, your you is as real as the you that now reads these words.
Any event in consciousness can mean anything. No rules.
Every night during deep sleep, no consciousness, but awareness always.
The mind believes itself. This is why a yogi sighs.
A sighing yogi yet has no mind.

——————————————————-

To say all the above, God would say, “OM.”
That’s God’s one word language.
If you have the ears to hear, you’ll hear OM.
And then you’ll say, “I was just told everything.”
No matter the question, OM answers it.
A yogi uses OM for an existential pop-quiz cheat sheet.

SUMMATION
No matter what it is inside your mind that you call “silence,” it’s close enough.
You cannot be wrong about your silence.
To attend silence is to end attending.
Without the least change, silence can grow.

The Tolle quote refers to an ancient definition of enlightenment.

Nirvana means extinguishment.

We are the fire.

We think the secret is to jump to another object when the wind rises.

The real answer is a bucket of water.

Tolle invites us to return to silence.

We don’t have to win the temporal video game to stop playing.

We can return to eternal presence whenever we like.
