RELIGN X SLVRY "Nobel laureate Steven Weinberg reminds us that religion doesn’t have a great track record on morality either. For hundreds of years, religion co-existed quite happily with slavery, says Weinberg, and when it was finally abolished – slavery, that is – it was because of the progressive changes happening in society at the time, and not because of any moral imperative raised by religion."
