DWM MTHR VIT D DEFY LBP

Postmenopausal women who had severe vitamin D deficiency had lower average bone mineral density scores and higher lower back pain scores, compared with women who had normal vitamin D levels, according to a retrospective analysis published in Menopause: The Journal of The North American Menopause Society. Severe vitamin D deficiency also was associated with a higher grade of lumbar disc degeneration in the lower back.
