Revised diagnostic criteria for pseudotumor cerebri syndrome in children
IIH with papilledema
A	Papilledema
B	Normal neurological examination except for cranial nerve abnormalities
C	Normal a Neuroimaging (cMRI)
D	Normal CSF composition
E	Lumbar puncture opening pressure ≥ 28 cmH 2 O (≥25 cmH 2 O if the child is not sedated and not obese)
A–E fulfilled: definite diagnosis of IIH
A–D fulfilled: probable diagnosis of IIH
IIH without papilledema
B–E fulfilled + unilateral or bilateral abducens nerve palsy: definite diagnosis of IIH
B–E fulfilled, no unilateral or bilateral abducens nerve palsy but + ≥ 3 neuroimaging abnormalities suggestive of idiopathic intracranial hypertension b : diagnoses of IIH can be suggested
