गीता अध्याय-6, श्लोक-19-- "यथा दीपो निवातस्थो नेङ्गते सोपमा स्मृता'
योगिनो यतचित्तस्य युञ्जतो योगमात्मन:" ------Just as a lamp in a windless place does not flicker, similarly the regulated Timeless Mind of a yogi does not flicker (becomes free from the waves of Past and Future) and remains fully Present in "Heartfulness Meditation" on the God.
"The Timeless State of Consciousness" ------ When every cell of our body is so Present that it feels vibrant with life, and when we can feel that life every moment as the Joy of Being, then it can be said that we are free of "Time". To be free of Time is to be free of the Psychological need of the Past for our identity and the Future for our fulfillment. It represents the most profound transformation of Consciousness that we can imagine.
Before we are firmly established in the state of Presence, which is to say, before we are fully Conscious, we shift back and fourth for a while between Consciousness and Unconsciousness, between the state of Presence and the state of Mind identification. We lose the Now, and we return to it, again and again. Eventually, Presence becomes our predominant state.
