RASH PEDS

Historical and physical “red flags” in a patient with an unknown rash include:[1]
  • Fever
  • Toxic appearance
  • Hypotension
  • Mucosal lesions
  • Severe pain
  • Very old or young age
  • Immunosuppressed
  • New medication
