"Deep breathing sends a message to your brain which tells it to relax and calm down. The brain sends across this signal to your body and your body reacts – all the things that happen to your body when you are stressed out are reversed now! Your heart rate decreases, your blood pressure comes down, you start breathing slow. You do not need any special tools to practice deep breathing, just put your hand on your abdomen and inhale very slowly through your nose. Observe your hand move out as your belly swells. Hold your breath and now exhale slowly. Repeat the process a few times."
