"tell my clients not to look at training as calories burned. At the end of a gruelling 30 minute training session when they are lying sweating, puffing and panting I explain that they have burned the equivalent of a mars bar. All that just to burn a bar of chocolate! Next time they go to eat a bar, they will think of that session and realise what it takes to reverse the damage of that sugar intake on their bodies never mind the damage it does to"
